dc.description.abstract | 線上資訊檢索自1970年代推出以來就不斷地蓬勃發展,檢索工作亦由原來的資訊檢索中間人(intermediary)逐漸轉由資訊需求者(end user)自行檢索的趨勢。隨著資料單位與圖書館自動化系統的開發,目前我國已有數個開發完成的資訊檢索系統。網路的開發,更有助於線上資料庫的傳播和價值之提昇,但是這些資訊檢索系統為各單位自行發展的成果,各系統的介面設計有無異同,是否易於使用均有待瞭解。 本研究乃針對中央研究院、立法院圖書資料室、電信局之電傳視訊、科學技術資料中心以及農業資料中心之資訊檢索系統的檢索方法與操作控制加以分析比較,以瞭解我國線上資訊檢索系統使用者介面設計之現況及問題所在,參考有關之文獻及研究計畫,進而擬出中文資訊檢索系統使用者介面設計之原則,以作為改進我國資訊檢索系統設計之參考。 本研究主要以文獻分析法及調查訪問法為主。調查結果顯示,我國所建立之資訊檢索系統,在檢索方法與操作控制方面之設計與英文資訊檢索系統並無太大的不同,系統建立過程中亦有部份考慮中文文字特性之處。然而這些系統仍偏向於採用傳統的介面設計型式及輸入/輸出設備,圖形介面或超媒體(hypermedia)設計理念尚未有系統採用之;各系統之介面設計往往只是程式設計師主觀的產物,是否真正符合使用者之檢索行為、檢索概念、檢索需求等則有待進一步瞭解;此外,目前各系統僅以其系統為考慮對象,當資訊網路建立時,將有一些系統與系統之問的問題產生(如軟、硬體設備,檢索方怯,指令語言等),若我國亦希望朝資訊需求者自行檢索的方向發展,這些問題都得列入考慮。 根據調查結果提出幾點與中文資訊檢索系統使用者介面設計有關之建議:一、人機交談型式宜提供不同層次的交談模式,改善或規劃介面設計時可將圖形介面列入考慮;二、人機介面之輸入/輸出裝置可以採用多種輸入方式及多媒體輸出方式;三、介面設計原則除遵循Hildreth之易於使用、親善有禮、有保護及容忍犯錯、可信賴且有反應、有塑性及彈性的理念,以及Shneiderman的尋求一致性、允許經常使用的人使用捷徑、提供消息性回饋、交談設計要有開端及結束、提供簡單的錯誤處理、能夠輕易地撤銷行動、鼓勵使用者採取行動而非接受結果以及減少短時問內的記憶負荷量八項原則外,中文資訊檢索系統於設計時還需注意幾部份的問題:(l)中文文字之特性應列入設計之考慮因素;(2)指令語言宜以統一格式,介面設計則宜考慮個別情況。(3)應用專家系統及人工智慧,加強線上使用者之輔助功能。 | zh_TW |
